About Eko Cabs
To help us better perform customer and transportation services, we may keep a record of user communication with Eko Cabs. This includes messages that you send to Eko Cabs; any responses that you give to our surveys or questionnaires; information you provide relating to a problem with the App.

Providing some information is optional. If you choose not to enter the requested information, we may be unable to accept bookings for transport.
When provided to us, we keep your information safe by storing it securely and only allowing password-protected access by authorised staff.
Eko Cabs may collect and retain financial information related to your use of the App such as your credit card, debit card or bank details and a record of the transactions entered through the App. We do this so that we can process payments for transportation services and keep financial records.
Eko Cabs will ask you to share location information from your Device. Providing Eko Cabs with your geolocation data allows Eko Cabs to connect you with drivers and allows us to determine the location and distance of the rides that you take. The geolocation data provide will assist you to experience the full functionality of the App.
We collect your personal information to:
book transport services
invoice for transport services
accept payment for transport services
Eko Cabs may collect and retain information about the trips you take with us. This information may be shared with interested parties, such as government agencies and companies. Any personal information will be aggregated, removed, or anonymised before sharing with third parties.
Besides our staff, we share this information with:
3rd parties to secure transport services via another provider.

Additional Information We Collect
We may automatically collect information about your usage of the App. This includes access time, Device ID, language information, Device name and model, operating system information, your activities within the App, and the amount of time you logged in for.
We may combine this information with other information collected from you and other users. This information will only be used for lawful purposes connected with the functions of the App or the provision of the Services.
Social Media Sites
Eko Cabs may give you the option to sign up using your Facebook, Twitter, or Google account. Eko Cabs will not however, associate your account with your Eko Cabs account unless you consent to this. If you sign up using your Facebook or Google account, Eko Cabs will collect any personal information it can access through those sites.
Provision of information is optional
You do not have to provide us with any information. However, if you choose not to supply some of the information that we request you may not be able to use some or all the features of the App. If certain information is not supplied, you may be unable to use the App or the Website at all.
How We Use Your Information
In general, Eko Cabs uses the information we collect from you to provide and operate services through the App. We may also use the information: to personalise, customise and improve your experience and usage of the App; to send you notices and suggestions; to display relevant offers or deals to you; to collect any moneys owing from you; to conduct research to better understand how users use the App, in order to improve our services and respond to user desires and preferences and to conduct audits and troubleshooting activities; to conduct background checks of Passengers and Drivers; in any other way that helps us to verify accounts and activity, or to promote safety and security on the App or otherwise; for any other purposes directly related to the above purposes; and for any other purposes which you would reasonably expect, which we inform you of when we collect your personal information, or which we obtain your consent for.
How We Share Your Information
Eko Cabs may share your information with third parties provided that this sharing is lawful. We may share some of your information with: any Driver (if you are a Passenger) or any Passenger (if you are a Driver) that you interact with or that interacts with you within the App; any other ID checking service used by Eko Cabs to verify your personal information; any credit card verification company used by Eko Cabs to verify your credit card details; any payment processing company that processes transactions made through the App; government agencies and companies, where the information is transport metrics, geolocation and / or demographic data; any person or entity, where disclosure of your information is required by law; a potential purchaser of some or all of the Eko Cabs business or company; any agents, officers and advisers of Eko Cabs; and any other third party, where sharing the information is lawful and related to the purposes for which the information was collected.
Accessing Your Personal Information
You have the right to ask for a copy of any personal information we hold about you, and to ask for it to be corrected if you think it is wrong. You can manage your personal information via your account, which gives you the ability to correct any personal information that we store.
